10th week

i found this class today more interesting and progressive, 'cause finally we did start to work, to create the page itself. so today we have the first page - the introduction and greating kind of thing, and two more about us and the staff.
and ya, probably this day satisfied me more than previous ones because my layout group was in charge today. but most of the work is not done yet, such as photos, and frames staff, and lines we needed. that's why we cannot go further, we just have a raw design of the page. but it's beginning to look like a web-page more or less. i like it!
during the class i was helping Robert with the layout by making different comments and possible suggestions to improve the design. and even though i'm not in a design team i'm gonna try to create the horizontal and vertical lines which are needed till the next week. i have some ideas already. hope you'll like it.

9th week

Well, what do we have by now?
we came up with design of our entire web-site. we chose a logo. and now we know how this all is gonna look like, at least approximately.
at the second part of the class we also had a new idea for the site itself. the idea was to have a circular shape as a frame, and put the logo to the top of it, and also have some other different decorations around. the text and pictures would be inside this frame. an example of this kind of site i liked very much, looks very attractive and creative.
but most of the class didn't accept this idea, some of them said the pictures would be so small that they would not be recognizable. some said the letters would be so tiny that people just couldn't read them. hmm... i don't know. this all depends on screens people have. but still i like this idea. and we could have tried it. because the usual rectangular shape looks quite trite for me. so i would prefer something more original. even though it's a bit more difficult to build.

8th week

this class was not very intresting. what we were doing was just chatting. we were separated into several groups, and the only thing we came up with was a list of things which could also take place in our web-site, e.g. different blogs, news line or a list of useful links for example to a page about Erasmus exchange. ya, probably, that's important, but i think we were wasting time a bit. we could have done it much faster. that's my opinion.

7th week

I've finished my first own web-site! so this is the first day i have it in internet, i'm gonna tell this to everyone today. i'm happy with this course, i like how it is going.
Well, and what about the second part of this class, we got a new task to build a web-site for BAAM. that's exciting! it's both an interesting and a hard work. i liked that brainstorming we had today, so many good ideas, but i think we could bring much more ideas, the problem is the shyness of us, and not being able to form the ideas into words. but still it was good.
and finally we were seperated into 4 groups, and each of us since now has his own duties. that's good that we separated the work in such a way, but i'm not sure it will work well. i mean it can happen that someone doesn't do anything and thinks that someone else can cope with that himself. but let's cross our fingers and start working

6th week

This week Dr.Phil showed to us some more personal web-sites to help us to improve our own ones. Yes, i learned something. the most important thing is to define your audience. and your design and content should be well organized.
What made me upset today that i cannot post a form on my web-site, where the visitors could leave some comments to me, that's why i had to write my e-mail adress instead of that, and what i did i created an Outlook empty letter with my e-mail adress typed in, and made a link from my site to this letter, and it opens in a new window, and that works, so that's great! i'm satisfied.
the speach of Drew (the Budacast creator) was good, now i know what is podcast! that's new for me actually, and for sure i'm gonna try it. about Budacast and his request to send him some ideas and interviews or whatever, well, that's a great opportunity for us to be involved in all that press and radio staff. well, now i don't really know what i could send to him, but i will think about it, maybe something about my Country?! about culture, people and national dishes...? i'll think about it.
so this lesson was exciting for me. and i learned a lot.
thank you, Phil!

week 5

Now it's becoming more and more difficult for me. the most dissappointing thing is that most of us has already done all this staff, and have their own web-sites, for me it's the first time. and i start realizing that when i find something difficult it starts annoy me, and i'm giving up doing it. that makes me upset. but i think i just don't like the atmosphere in the class, i prefer working at home. but now i have some problems with internet, so i cannot use it at home.
the strange thing for me it that i always liked working with computers and graphics, colours and tables, but today something misunderstandable happened to me, i couldn't consentrate on work, and my final page was of course terrible. i'm dissappointed. :(
